Morgenstern’s is back with some of the city’s favorite ice cream

Morgenstern's Finest Ice Cream has reopened on the Lower East Side at 2 Rivington Street, marking a return to the brand. The reopening comes months after the shop's larger Greenwich Village flagship shuttered in 2025, ending an 11-year run that cemented its status as a New York institution. The shop now serves ice cream from noon to midnight every day and is focused on its signature texture-driven ice creams and a menu that balances nostalgic classics with the curveball flavors.
