Five Cleveland restaurants that could earn a Michelin star

The Michelin Guide's anonymous canvassers are exploring Cleveland as part of a Great Lakes expansion. Among the potential stars are Batuqui, a Brazilian restaurant recently featured in a TV show, and Chez Francois, a French bistro in Vermilion. Vinnie Cimino, Cleveland's hottest chef and a finalist for a James Beard Award, is considered the least stuffy fine dining experience in town with a menu that leans into Midwestern charm. Larder, on the other hand, is known for its locally sourced meats.
