Reds Opening Day starter Andrew Abbott had another poor performance in his final Cactus League appearance, allowing five earned runs in four innings. The Reds won 11-7 over the Chicago White Sox, with P.J. Higgins scoring a grand slam in the ninth. This was Abbott's sixth start of the spring and he allowed 25 earned runs and 28 hits in 17 2/3. The game was played in Goodyear, Arizona.
