Lebanon community rallies for 3-sport star Amburgy's cancer battle

Lebanon High School athlete Zach Amburgy, one of only nine students in this year's senior class to letter in a varsity sport in all three athletic seasons, was diagnosed with Fibrolamellar Hepatocellular Carcinoma earlier this month, a rare diagnosis found in only 1% of liver cancers. After undergoing his first round of chemotherapy, the Lebanon community rallied for Amburge, throwing out a ceremonial first pitch ahead of the Warriors "Rivers Bend" rivalry game vs Kings High School. The Warriors' traditional maroon uniforms were donned in custom "Amburgy Strong" jerseys. Proceeds from all aspects of the game are helping the Amburged family through this process.
