Daniels, who has been largely absent from Republican Party politics for over a decade, argues that public servants who stood against redistricting should be rewarded, not punished, by outside parties. He also criticizes the "bipartisan national embarrassment of mid-decade gerrymandering" that led to intense public pressure on state lawmakers who opposed it.
