The Revere, Massachusetts, location of Uno Pizzeria & Grill, was reportedly saved by general manager, Amalia Korom, who bought the closed location and gave it a major revamp before reopening it again. The Revere location, which had been open for 34 years, is now the sole location in Greater Boston remaining. The company cited rising food costs, taxes, rents, and changing consumer habits as reasons for its decision to close "underperforming" locations.
