Coolest day of the week before big warmup returns this weekend in central NC

A chilly start to Wednesday morning will lead to the lowest afternoon of the week, with temperatures expected to reach around 60 degrees. This will be followed by a significant warming trend that will see temperatures rise to 70 degrees on Friday and possibly reach the mid-80s on Saturday. The 10-day forecast is expected to be the longest rain-free stretch of April since 2017.
