Myha'la, 29, has revealed that her husband, Armando Rivera, made a significant contribution to her on the set of the horror-action flick They Will Kill You. The actress, who stars as Maria Reaves in the film, also revealed that Rivera made a "little cameo" as a character she bites during the intense scenes. The film is set in New York City but was shot in Cape Town, South Africa. Despite initially being referred to as Myha'ala's fiancé, Myha’la and Rivera began dating in late 2020 and announced their engagement in July 2024. They secretly wed in January 2025.
