Seattle data storage company putting R&D hub in Ireland

Seattle-based data management firm, Qumulo, has announced the launch of a new European software research and development hub in Cork, Ireland, which is expected to create 50 jobs over the next three years. The move comes as Qumulos aims to maintain its edge in the increasingly crowded field of AI-driven data management. Other Seattle-area tech companies, including Amazon and F5, also operate in the city. The company's CEO, Douglas Gourlay, believes the global demand for "anonymous" data will drive its growth.
