‘Very disrespectful’: Acoma Governor criticizes data center project over use of Pueblo of Acoma name

A controversial data center project in New Mexico has been criticized by the governor of the Acoma Pueblo for using the name of a pueblo without their consent. The company behind Project Jupiter, Yucca Growth Infrastructure, is using a company called AcomA LLC for the development. Governor Charles Riley called this "very disrespectful" and stated that no one from the company had asked for permission. The developers have stated they will use a different name for the project out of respect.
