Capitol push: Major bills move forward with compromises

After weeks of negotiations, several high-profile bills have passed out of the conference committee, many of which are in scaled-back form. One measure, known as Natalie's Law, aimed at protecting educators was reduced to a misdemeanor but added a key provision, legal support for teachers. Another proposal, the stadium naming rights bill, also made it through, but with limits. The bills are facing a critical deadline to pass, with the House and Senate voting to either accept or reject the conference version of these bills. If both chambers approve them, it will go to the governor for final approval.
