Clippers close regular season with win over Warriors

The Los Angeles Clippers ended the regular season with a 115-110 victory over the Golden State Warriors. The victory gave the Clippers a winning record for the 15th consecutive season, the longest active streak in the NBA. Coach Tyronn Lue decided to rest Kawhi Leonard due to nagging wrist and ankle injuries ahead of the postseason. The loss to the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday all but eliminated the Clippers from the No. 9 seed in the Play-In Tournament would have made them higher. The Warriors held out Draymond Green due to a sore neck and struggled to score in the first half, but the team found their scoring touch from beyond the 3-point line.
