Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA) has joined global automakers including Tesla (TSLA), and Uber (ISR), in a platform strategy that allows multiple companies to collaborate on creating an open ecosystem. This strategy is different from Tesla's vertically integrated approach, allowing for multiple players to scale. The partnership is particularly notable as Nvidia plans to launch a global Level 4 robotaxi network in Los Angeles and San Francisco in 2027, expanding to 28 cities by 2028.
