Saugus girls basketball sees historic season end with loss in regional final

Saugus girls basketball team ended its historic season with a loss to St. Joseph of Santa Maria in the CIF SoCal Division II Regional final. This marked the Centurions' first CIF State playoff appearance. Despite a strong performance from junior Rachael Correa and a strong defensive performance from St. Joe, head coach Anthony Falasca, praised Correa's development and ability to adapt to the game. Despite the loss, Falasca predicted that this year's team will leave behind an impactful legacy.
