The Yankees are staying 'disciplined' with Giancarlo Stanton's off days despite his hot start to the season, despite the designated hitter's resurgence. Despite Stanton's impressive performance this season, manager Aaron Boone has kept him available for regular times due to his off-day schedule. He cited the need to remain cautious about his workload, particularly in light of the 2026 season still in its infancy. Despite this, Boone believes Stanton can still impact a game even if he is out of the starting lineup. He entered the season with a.273 average, 66 RBI and a.944 OPS, Stanton is currently hitting.500 with two doubles, one homer and four RBI. Carlos Rodón threw again after tweaking his hamstring, but it's unclear if he will need to undergo further tests before the start of a rehab assignment.
