Gas prices rising in Carolinas as a result of the conflict between the US, Iran

Gas prices are increasing across the country and in the Carolinas due to the conflict between the US and Iran escalating, causing a noticeable increase in gas prices. The North Carolina average now stands at $2.81 per gallon, while South Carolina's average is an increase of eight cents. The national average of $3.00 per gallon is a 10 cent increase from Sunday. Patrick De Haan, the Head of Petroleum Analysis for GasBuddy, said that unknown causes will make prices worse, but the chances of prices levelling out are greater if there is an end to this conflict.
