Apple releases iOS 18 security update for all iPhone users, update now

Apple has released a new version of iOS 18 for all iPhone users in response to the proliferation of a new exploit chain, DarkSword, which affects iOS 18.4 through the next year. The update is available for all iPhones still running iOS 18, regardless of whether they are supported by iOS 26. However, users with devices that can run iOS 26 have not updated. The last iOS 18 update was released in December for all devices. The latest update will be installed if users with auto-update enabled.
