University of Michigan softball hosts annual academy to raise millions for cancer research

The University of Michigan softball program held its 17th annual Michigan Softball Academy to raise funds for the American Cancer Society. The event, which includes players, coaches, and fans, aims to teach students about giving back to the community and inspire them to make a healthier lifestyle. The program has raised $2 million for the Society in 2025 and is nearing the $3 million mark as of the day.
