Jamie Lee Curtis, an actress and producer, revealed that she wouldn't have chosen to take on three more ‘Halloween’ movies if she knew the project was a trilogy. She credits Jason Blum, the director of Blumhouse, for bringing back the 'Halloween' movies and securing a development deal with him. Curtis used this advantage to pay Russell Goldman, a filmmaker who now works in development for Curtis' Comet Pictures. Curtis also mentioned her love for the horror genre, despite not liking it but admiring it's diverse and expressing her appreciation for its diversity. She also mentioned that she only wants to be made an hour-long TV show, not an hour hour, and that she doesn't want to be in an hourlong movie.
