Gravestones damaged as tornado hits historic Belton cemetary

Over 25 gravestones were toppled at the historic Belton cemetery, Missouri, following a tornado. The cemetery, which is over 100 years old, holds the graves of over 5,000 individuals, including over 1,000 veterans from World War I, World War II, and the Vietnam War. The National Weather Service is investigating the tornado's path and damage to determine its severity. The city plans to establish drop-off locations for storm debris.
