‘Saturday Night Live UK’: What The Critics Are Saying

Saturday Night Live UK, a spin-off of the U.S. version of NBC's Saturday Night, debuted on Sky last night, 50 years after the show's original American inspiration launched in the US. The show featured a cast including Tina Fey, Ayoade Bamgboye, Larry Dean, Celeste Dring, Fouracres, Annabel Marlow, Al Nash, Jack Shep, Emma Sidi and Paddy Young. The critics have been mixed with mixed reviews, but some have seen potential for the show. Jamie Dornan and Riz Ahmed are expected to host episodes two and three of the episodes, with Wolf Alice and Kasabian providing the music. The Guardian gave the show 3/5 stars, while The Telegraph gave it 4/5.
