Jaclyn Smith, the actress behind 'Charlie's Angels' and "The Way We Were" at PaleyFest's 50th anniversary reunion, revealed that she turned down an opportunity to play a Bond girl in "Moonraker" due to her Texas upbringing. Smith was also offered the part of Dr. Holly Goodhead in the 1979 Bond film, but the part eventually went to Lois Chiles. She also mentioned that she was considered for "Beetlejuice," but the film's female leads were Catherine O'Hara, Geena Davis, and a young Winona Ryder.
