Alaska's final weekend of March is expected to be one of the coldest March on record for Anchorage and one of its longest stretches of below freezing temperatures for Fairbanks. Kodiak is expected with 4 to 10 inches of snowfall expected, and Western Alaska with 2 to 6 inches of rainfall. The Kuskokwim Delta Coastline will also receive significant amounts of snow, with wind gusts reaching up to 35 mph. Most of southeast Alaska will remain dry, except for Southern areas. Meanwhile, the Aleutian Chain will also see some light rain as highs and lows reach into the upper 30s.
