3 People Injured, Machete-Wielding Man Shot Dead After He Attacked in N.Y.C.’s Grand Central Station

A man, identified as 44-year-old Anthony Griffin, stabbed three people with a machete at New York City's Grand Central Terminal before being shot and killed by police officers responding to the incident. The attack occurred at around 9:30 a.m. local time and was reported to have occurred at the Vernon Boulevard station in Queens. Griffin allegedly began acting erratically and repeatedly stating that he was Lucifer. The victims were taken to a local hospital and their conditions were listed as stable. The NYPD is currently conducting an internal investigation and will release body-worn camera footage.
