The U.S. Coast Guard has deployed special teams to enforce river closures on Pittsburgh's Three Rivers as part of security measures for the NFL Draft. The closures will be in effect from midnight Wednesday until midnight Saturday. The maritime safety team from New York will enforce the closures, which will include law enforcement boats and the Gateway Clipper. The airspace above the draft campus will also be shut down to drones, and multiple road closures will surround the campus. The Coast Guard is deploying specialized teams to ensure public safety for both recreational boaters and land.
