Luis Emmanuel Valencia Ponce, 18, has been charged with attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon for the random stabbing of a mother of three at a Queens bus stop. The attack occurred just before 6:20 a.m. on Tuesday. The victim, Lisette Ramales, was stabbed three times: once in the arm, once the elbow, and once in back. Ponce surrendered to the 115th police precinct following the release of clear surveillance video. He was arraigned on charges of second-degree attempted murder and first-degree assault. The stabbing occurred at a bus stop along 23rd Avenue and 94th Street in East Elmhurst.
