Disney Plus's new Star Wars animated show, Maul - Shadow Lord, has a unique blend of CG and hand-drawn animation. The show's supervising director, Dave Filoni, used techniques such as paint on glass with actual brushes to create the impression of the artist. The latest trailer shows plenty of lightsaber action, expanding on the acrobatic Lightsaber Form IV combat techniques used in the pre-series.
