Former Mayor Eric Adams posted a video on social media showing 15-year-old Jaden Pierre being beaten and fatally shot in a Queens playground. The victim was shot in the chest inside the Nautilus Playground at Roy Wilkins Park near Baisley and Merrick Blvds. The cell-phone video shows Pierre being repeatedly beaten by rival teens, with his back against a fence near the park’s comfort station. The NYPD released images of the suspected shooter, including one from the cell phone footage released by Adams. Police believe Pierre went to the park to participate in a water-balloon fight earlier that day.
