Nikolaj Ehlers scored the go-ahead goal with 7:18 remaining, adding two assists. The win keeps Carolina tied with Buffalo as the top seed in the Eastern Conference. The teams will meet again in Raleigh, North Carolina on Thursday. Despite losing all three previous games, Columbus still holds the East's second wild-card spot.
