Capcom's glad we hated Resident Evil Requiem's terrible DLSS 5 AI demo, because it means fans "really liked the original design of Grace"

When Nvidia introduced its AI-powered DLSS 5 tech to Resident Evil Requiem, the demo was widely recognized as an insult to the original game's art direction. However, Capcom believes that the negative reaction to the demo indicates fans still love the original design of Grace. The company's executive producer, Masato Kumzawa, stated that the positive feedback from fans indicates that they believe in the design of the game. Despite some arguing that Grace's appearance improved significantly under the DLSS5 filter, there is no clear indication that graphical fidelity has significantly improved.
