President Donald Trump has announced that the Pentagon is preparing to release some "very interesting" UFO files uncovered by his administration. This announcement has been met with skepticism and excitement as he hints at new revelations about alien life. In February, Trump directed federal agencies to release records related to extraterrestrial life and UFOs. Since then, he has teased the imminent release of documents never before shared by the U.S. government. The Pentagon was years into a process to declassify and release government documents related to UFOs, now referred to as unexplained anomalous phenomena (UAP). Congress created an office in 2022 to investigate UAP and declassify material. However, the previous director of the office, Sean Kirkpatrick, said there were no bombshell revelations to be found.
