NWS: Enhanced Risk of Severe Thunderstorms

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued an enhanced risk of severe weather, with a warning that severe storms are expected to move in from Illinois between 8 p.m. and 9 a.m., causing a high risk for those already asleep. The weather will change when temperatures fall to 40 degrees by Monday morning, and could lead to significant snowfallfall. The cold weather is expected to bottom out of the sheets on Tuesday morning with temperatures expected to be around 20 degrees.
