Palo Verde (14-6, 0-2 5A Mountain, led by sophomore starting pitcher Connor McDonald, won the baseball game against Centennial High School with a score of 14-6. McDonald pitched a strong 5⅔ innings, giving up only the only two runs of the day. The win lifts Palo Verde's momentum in the game, allowing them to regain momentum. Centennial's third baseman Terrell Otis and third-place player Terrell O'Neill were among the players who successfully stashed the ball during the game.
