Patrick Schwarzenegger is set to lead the 20th Century Studios adaptation of Emily Henry's New York Times bestselling novel, Beach Read. The romantic comedy will be released in 2020. Schwarzenegger's casting as the lead actor in the film, which follows a successful romance novelist struggling with grief and writer's block after her father's death, and reconnected with author Gus Everett, who was her rival in college. Yulin Kuang, the co-writer of Netflix’s People We Meet on Vacation, is directing the feature take from her own script and Neal H. Moritz is producing via his Original Films. This marks another big win for Schwarzenegger, who also leads in the upcoming Amazon MGM Studios romantic drama Love Of Your Life.
