Owner of Hello, Marjorie opening another bar in downtown's Equitable Building

Nick Tillinghast, the owner of cocktail bars like Hello, Marjorie and Secret Admirer, is expanding his footprint at downtown Des Moines' Equitable Building. He plans to rebrand Good News, Darling into Nothing Major, a new cocktail bar and ice cream parlor. The new space will be located near his current sports bar, Des Moines Athletic Club, and will also be used as Des Moines Does Things headquarters. Tillhast hopes this will stimulate a revitalization of downtown Desmo. He also plans to relocate Good News and Darling from the former Eggroll Lady location.
