The team's 3-2 win over the Washington Capitals was attributed to simplification and a power play success rate of 33.3%. This is the first time since Jan. 1 that the Mammoth has scored multiple power play goals in a game. Despite finishing in the top 10 in that category last year, the team's power play is on the rise. The Mammoth's penalty kill is starting to recede.
