Bill Maher, the host of "Real Time" show, criticised President Trump's Freedom 250 concert series in Washington, D.C. for being criticized for its lacklustre performance, which has seen numerous artists drop out of the event due to concerns about being misled about Trump's involvement. The event, which will celebrate America's 250th birthday on July 6, 2026, is set to take place on the National Mall and will be held on June 25-10. Other artists including Bret Michaels, The Commodores, Young MC, Morris Day and the Time, and the original singers of Milli Vanilli have all announced they are pulling out of it. Despite this, Maher continued to criticise the president's decision to put out a $250 bill with Trump's face on it.
