Sen. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) claims that the Department of Justice (DOJ) sought another grand jury indictment of James Comey due to acting Attorney General Todd Blanche's desire to stay full-time. Schiff also suggested that the DOJ sought the indictment because Comey is a political opponent of President Trump and that Blanche had not been successful in successfully bringing a case against him. The three-page indictment alleges that Comey made a threat to kill and injure Trump by posting a photo to Instagram of seashells. However, Blanche denied the post was intended to incite violence.
