Kevin McKidd, star of Grey's Anatomy, has expressed his willingness to return to the show after Owen Hunt's exit from season 22. McKidd has directed over 45 episodes of the ABC drama and is also a major creative force behind the camera. Despite leaving the series, McKidd admits it was emotional both on and off-screen and appreciated the support of the crew. He also plans to return behind the scenes to continue filming the four-part psychological miniseries The Only Suspect in London and Los Angeles shortly after. Additionally, McKid is working on expanding his production company, Ferryman Films, with a slate of projects currently in development.
