Master of Proposals: Metallica’s James Hetfield Pops the Question to Girlfriend During Scuba Dive

Metica frontman James Hetfield proposed to girlfriend Adriana Gillett during a scuba diving excursion on March 13. Hetfeld shared a photo of the proposal on Metallica's Instagram, showing him underwater in a mask and scuba gear holding a sign asking, "Adriana, Will You Marry Me?" alongside fashion designer Gilleatt. The couple's future is set to be announced before Metallica begins their three-year-long M72 world tour on May 9 with a show at the Olympic Stadium in Athens, Greece, followed by a show in Bucharest, Romania and a stop in Chrozow, Poland.
