Orange County leaders push for new shelter for human trafficking victims

The proposal comes as Florida ranks third in the country for calls to the National Human Trafficking Hotline, following a report commissioned by the state that revealed that over 700,000 people were trafficked in the state between 2020 and 2025. The proposal is being discussed for a new shelter for human trafficking victims.
