Tyler Perry's $250K gift card payout to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport security agents, who had been without a paycheck for nearly six weeks during the Department of Homeland Security shutdown, was finally cleared for use. Initially, workers were told they couldn't accept the gifts due to federal rules, but this changed when supervisors suddenly ordered the cards returned. However, this has now been resolved, with around 100 employees returning their physical cards, which will be returned as souvenirs. This decision comes after the longest partial government shutdown in US history and lawmakers are currently on Spring Break.
