Foxborough and Kraft Sports reach agreement on World Cup security funding, clearing way for matches

The Town of Foxborough and Kraft Sports have resolved a dispute over who will pay for security during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The agreement allows for the hosting of seven matches at Gillette Stadium, with the $7.8 million public safety costs being covered by Boston Soccer 2026. The remaining details are to be finalised before a public hearing on March 17.
