Denver weather: City’s first 90-degree day of 2026 forecast amid record-breaking heat

The National Weather Service has predicted that the city of Denver will experience its first 90-degree day of 2026, with temperatures expected to exceed the normal "normal" temperature for this time of March for the month. The weather service highlighted near-record and high temperatures forecast for the week, including 73 degrees on Monday and 83 degrees on Tuesday, which would break the March 24 heat record of 76 degrees set in 1896. The earliest recorded 90-degrees in previous years was on April 30, 1992.
