The Kansas City Chiefs are not yet planning on preparing for the regular season for quarterback Patrick Mahomes, but are confident in their options if he is unable to play due to a torn ACL. The Chiefs have also traded for backup player Justin Fields, who they believe can win games for them if necessary.
