Fired Ariz. nonprofit CEO says lawsuit against her is a smear campaign

The former CEO of Mesa-based Copa Health, Sharareh "Shar" Najafi-Piper, has accused her former employer of a smear campaign and demanded that the lawsuit should be settled in private arbitration rather than public court. The lawsuit was filed in late March and is being investigated by the Department of Justice.
