Italian director Mario Martone's new film, Trick (Scherzetto), has begun principal photography in his home city of Naples. The film is based on the novel of the same name by Domenico Starnone and centers on an unexpected duel between a grandfather and his grandson. The cast includes Toni Servillo, Lorenzo Perrotta, Serena Rossi, and Leonardo Lidid as the parents. The screenplay is co-written by Martone and Ippolita di Majo. The production is produced by Mad Entertainment with Rai Cinema, in association with Picomedia, and produced by Maria Carolina Terzi, Carlo, Lorenza and Luciano Stella.
