Bison football joining world of corporate logos

The NCAA Division I Cabinet approved two additional corporate patches on uniforms in January, allowing for up to 4 square inches. The middle of the NDSU jersey will be reserved for the Under Armour logo and the Mountain West logo below the right shoulder. The University of Wyoming has signed a deal with Tallgrass for $4.5 million over five years for football and men’s and women’ basketball jersey patches. The number of jerseys and patches needed will also impact supply and demand nationally. The two Mountain West teams who reach next season's conference title game will need to add one more corporate patch, with the league selling it for that game only. However, there is a potential issue if a company is a competitor with the school's corporate patch.
