The Miracle League of Orange County has introduced its first wheelchair softball team for adults, thanks to the Angels Baseball Foundation. The team plays with a larger ball and no gloves, and their goal is to have other inclusive softball teams join them so they can start a league. The sport is a physical activity and a bonding experience for the players.
