Recreational target shooting restrictions have been implemented on the Pike-San Isabel National Forests & Cimarron and Comanche National Grasslands (PSICC) due to elevated fire danger. The restrictions apply to all national forest lands within the exterior boundaries of the South Platte Ranger District, South Park Ranger District and Pikes Peak Ranger District. These restrictions are intended to protect public health and safety and enhance the existing Stage 1 fire restriction established to minimize the potential risk of human-caused fires across PSICC. Visitors are prohibited from discharging firearms, air rifles, or gas guns.
